Prosensors' History

Prosensors was founded as a Canadian corporation in November 2012 with the vision of research and design of electronic sensors for industrial and commercial applications. Prosensors quietly built up a portfolio of technology while migrating to an Internet-of-Things strategy in the following years, while engaging in contracts for intelligent geographic mapping, including building an app that could monitor cellular and wireless broadband signal levels in rural areas and upload this data to a central server from a remote location. In 2016, the company contributed to four different motion pictures in the arena of special effects in partnership with Glitch Inc. In 2017, Prosensors launched the BIOT trials in Ottawa, Canada, as an IOT product and service for secuirty, water detection, and temperature monitoring with no external power source or gateway required other than a wifi connection.
